Marcel Luske, a.k.a. 'The Flying Dutchman', is a professional poker player from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Luske learned poker in market cafés. He officially quit his job as a salesman in 2003 to concentrate on poker. Marcel Luske is the dapperly attired gentleman who wears suits and always his sunglasses upside down, evangelizes an international poker rules standard and loves to sing at the table. One of his memorable sayings at the pokertable is: "Give a little bit ... give a little bit of your chips to me”

Marcel was the European Poker Awards Player of the Year twice, in 2001 and 2004. He has been a poker mentor to both David Williams and Kirill Gerasimov. Marcel has recently formed the Circle of Outlaws group. The Circle of Outlaws is a group of 10 young up and coming poker pros who make hundreds of thousands playing online poker. Marcel says he hand picks his members by solely choosing poker players who dominate and are also good people. He doesn’t want a member who gets upset and throws cards. Other members of the Circle of Outlaws include Patrik Antonius, the Mizrachi brothers, Scott Flansburg, Luca Pagano, Noah Boeken, Erica Schoenberg, Jules Leyser, Frank Sinopoli and Marco Traniello who is the husband of professional poker star Jennifer Harman.

In the beginning of 2007 he started a show called Veronica Poker, accompanied by Noah Boeken. A couple of Dutch celebrities had to learn poker from them. Eventually the celebrities had to go against each other, the winner was invited to an important tournament in Las Vegas. A second tv show with Boeken and Marcel Luske started in February 2007. The show is called "Poker Kings NL" and airs on the Tien channel. The show follows both Boeken and Luske while they travel around the world, attending poker tournaments.
